    • What is The Texas Kettlebell Club? The Texas Kettlebell Club is a CrossFit affiliate gym aka, CrossFit Seguin. It is a strength and conditioning gym focused on underground and CrossFit training methodologies.
    • What is the difference between the Texas Kettlebell Club and CrossFit Seguin? They are one and the same. Classes are run with the CrossFit training methodologies, however due to our background in Kettlebell training we are able incorporate Kettlebells in place of some barbell movements.
    • What is a Kettlebell? A Kettlebell is a cast iron ball with a handle. Imagine a cannonball with a suitcase handle weighing 8-106lbs.
    • Do I have to take the Intro class? The intro class is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. Kettlebell/Barbell lifts are very technical and require special instruction to preform properly. Unless you've learned Kettlebells/CrossFit from a Certified instructor, chances are your form is wrong. Many gyms/trainers across America are implementing Kettlebells without knowing proper form. 
    • Who trains with Kettlebells/CrossFit? Kettlebells are used by Elite Special Forces, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, U.S. Secret Service, Olympic Athletes, Fighters, Strongmen, Celebrities, Pro Sports Athletes, Dancers...again the list goes on.
    • Do you only train with Kettlebells? No, We use many effective strength and conditioning tools such as, but not limited to: Barbells, Med Balls, Olympic Rings, Tires, and Sleds.
    • What Makes You Different From other Gyms? We specialize in Kettlebells, Crossfit, and Underground Strength Training. Our classes are small groups so we can give everyone attention. We have experience working in one of San Diego's top Kettlebell gyms, Iron Core San Diego. Our gym is listed as the ONLY recommended Kettlebell gym in Texas, in the "Kettlebells for Dummies" book. We DO NOT have contracts, that's how confident we are in our training. 
    • What kind of results will I get and in how long? Most clients notice results in 2 weeks. Results will depend on your specific goals.
    • Can Anyone Train with Kettlebells? Yes, anyone can train with Kettlebells. It is recommended you get your doctors permission first.
    • How do I start? Contact us, take the Kettlebell Intro course.
    • What do I need for training? Bring water, a towel, and a positive attitude!  
* Kettlebell training is best done with shoes with little to no cushion (skate board shoes- combat boots). Training barefoot or in socks is also acceptable
